Jay Jakub, Chief of Staff for the Economics of Mutuality platform and Director of the EoM Foundation, will be speaking at two conferences organized by the Conscious Capitalism movement in Barcelona, Spain in June. Conscious Business Education Conference
28th – 29th June 2023
Barcelona School of Management

Conscious Business Education is an open-source project, co-funded by the EU, in which 6 European education institutions collaborate to create a conscious business study program.

The annual conference gathers professors, researchers, and business leaders to explore and exchange innovative ways to teach conscious business practices. This year’s event in Spain will focus on how older generations can help young leaders find the courage to do business consciously.

Jay Jakub will co-lead a workshop entitled ‘Impacting Companies to Do Business Consciously’ and participate in a panel discussion on the topic ‘Accelerating the Dissemination of Conscious Business Education” alongside:


European Conscious Leaders Summit
29th – 30th June 2023
Campus La Mola, Barcelona

50 to 80 conscious leaders from Europe will gather together to create a community that supports each other in building flourishing conscious businesses in service of people and planet.

Jay Jakub will lead two Learnshops with Conscious Business Co-Founder Hendrik Jan Van Es on the topic ‘Making Your Purpose Impactful For All Stakeholders’. They will address:

  • The importance of thinking externally about corporate purpose

  • Making purpose actionable and measurable

  • The 3 archetypes of purpose: Values, Description, Meaningful Challenge

  • Translating purpose into strategy through an ecosystem stakeholder approach

  • Engaging the workforce on the company’s purpose journey
