Recognising Value Workshop

22 January 2026 | 15.00–17.00 | Shoreditch Treehouse, London

Recognising Value

As organisations navigate growing complexity, many leaders are grappling with a fundamental challenge: understanding what value is truly being created — and for whom.

When value is not clearly recognised beyond financial metrics, organisations risk eroding the very conditions that enable long-term performance. Non-financial value - such as trust, capability and resilience - can quietly disappear, even as short-term results appear strong.

In these moments, decision-making often defaults to what is easiest to measure. Financial indicators stand in for what matters most. Over time, this can fragment organisations and create gaps between leadership narratives, lived experience and external perception.

Creating Space to Reframe Value

In response, we are convening a small, in-person workshop to explore how value is understood, discussed and legitimised in decision-making. Rather than focusing on metrics or frameworks, the session creates space for reflection and practical exploration, guided by a core question: value for whom, and for what end?

Participants will examine how value is recognised across three levels:

  • At the project level, where value is exchanged around the problem being solved

  • At the strategy level, where leaders make trade-offs and directional choices

  • At the enterprise and market level, where value is communicated to investors, regulators and markets

Together, we will explore what distinguishes these moments, what connects them, and what it might look like to recognise value more deliberately across all three.

An Invitation

This session is designed as a learning space and mindset shift, combining facilitated dialogue, reflection and shared inquiry.

We are inviting a small group of leaders to join us as pilot participants. The workshop will take place in person at Treehouse Shoreditch on 22 January, 15.00-17.00. Places are limited.
