Published November 2019

The Economics of Mutuality recently featured in the Financial Times as a new school of thought that balances profit with creating value for society.

Stephen Badger, Chairman of Mars, was interviewed by Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson. He spoke about how the Economics of Mutuality is ready to spread throughout companies and business schools around the world as a management model for others to follow.

Spearheaded by Mars’ internal think-tank since 2007, 18 months before the 2008 financial crisis, and supported by the University of Oxford since 2014, the Economics of Mutuality programme is now moving into an open and collaborative platform hosted by a public-interest foundation in Geneva, Switzerland with a vision to invite input from other business schools, companies and investment firms.

Further announcements will be released on our website in due course.
