Driving Meaningful Growth in a Changing World

July 2026

This June, we brought together a group of forward-thinking leaders across strategy, finance, sustainability, corporate affairs, and transformation for a one-day workshop in London.

Centered on the question of what it means to create meaningful growth today, the workshop created space for participants to step back from the demands of day-to-day delivery and explore how businesses can balance short-term performance pressures with long-term resilience and innovation.

Participants examined case studies demonstrating the mutual value approach in practice, reflecting on how it informed both strategic choices and day-to-day decision-making.

Mutual value creation occurs when businesses and stakeholders co-create profitable and enduring solutions to social and environmental challenges.

Financial performance and positive impact reinforce each other, generating benefits that are proportionate and sustained over time.

Rather than viewing economic uncertainty, rapid technological change, and other social and environmental challenges as external pressures to navigate, participants explored how seeing them through a mutual value lens can help businesses build resilience, adapt more effectively, and create lasting value.

Thank you to those who joined us and contributed their insights. As the conversation around meaningful growth continues to evolve, we'll continue running workshops that create space for leaders to explore new ways of thinking about value creation and long-term business success.
